AWANA Kid's Club
AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" and is taken from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15. It is a kid's club for children from Pre-K through 6th grade. Kids are taught Bible verses and play special games. Awana gives children the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus, no matter their background.
Awana also equips local volunteers with Biblical evangelism and discipleship solutions so that today's children may become tomorrow’s Christian leaders, in every aspect of society and culture.
The club year starts in mid-September and goes to mid April. Club night is on Wednesday with the hours of 6 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
Throughout the club year we hold "special" club nights: Camo Night, Store Night, Pinewood Car Grand Prix, a Christmas Time Night, Crazy Hair Night, and Movie Night.
During summer months we hold an event for the AWANA club and church family - AWANA Family Campfire Nights. We have one of these fun filled evenings once a month during the summer season.
