Come See Us!
What are your services like?
Whether it is through the music, prayer or preaching, God's word is at the center of all of our gatherings. Each service includes a time of prayer, celebrative worship and verse-by-verse messages from books of the Bible. The sermons are built on God’s Word, not the pastor's ideas, and aim at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ.
Where should I go when I enter the building?
We have greeters located at the doors who would be happy to help you find where you need to go. Before each service begins, many of our attenders go to the fellowship area, where they can enjoy some free baked goods, coffee, tea, or ice water. (Just ask one of our greeters to direct you.) If you need childcare for your infant or toddler, please ask a greeter and they will assist you.
Are Children Allowed in the Service?
Yes. Some parents prefer to stay together as a family for worship. Occasional disruptions from children occur, but parents are usually quick to attend to their child's needs or take them to the lobby until they can settle. Just before the sermon, the pastor will call up to the front of the auditorium all the children who want to attend KIDS Church. He asks the leader what their lesson will be, then he and the congregation pray for them. Then they leave the auditorium with the KIDS Church leaders and go to a classroom for a Bible lesson and activities, while the rest of the congregation listens to the sermon.
What should I wear?
We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that honors God. Most of our members wear something in the range of business formal to business casual.
