Western culture has come to regard science as the ultimate standard of truth. When we hear someone claim that their position on a matter is based on science, it is to be understood that there can be no stronger appeal to truth. But modern science has a flaw. It has a definite bias and it commonly suppresses evidence. Those of us who have "faith" as our highest standard for truth, do not need to think we have something inferior to science. Romans 1:21-25 makes it clear why science is not superior to faith.
